Louise Reinich, Show Producer,
has been producing shows throughout Edmonton since 1993. Her greatest
accomplishment was guiding the Edmonton Woman's Show into a success.
Louise strongly believes in a wholistic approach to producing a trade
show, which includes a well-managed show floor and an organized, smoothly
run, move-in and move-out process for exhibitors.
In 1999 Louise Reinich was approached by the ski industry to produce
a ski show and, after much thought, she made the decision to proceed
with the show's plans. The Edmonton Ski Club partnered with the show
and added the Ski Swap component of the show, and Edmonton saw the
first Ski and Snowboard Show event. Held for the first time in the
year 2000,
it was a tremendous success with incredible support from the industry
and the public. The trademark component of the show is a low-ticket
price with a ton of added value.
In 2006 the ski and snowboard industry
came
to Family Productions with an idea for an indoor rail competition.
Louise, recognizing the advantages this competition would offer
to exhibitors
and attendees of the Show, took on the challenge to help create the
first ever indoor rail competition. The competition was appropriately
titled
The Jib Jam, and was a great success!
Each year visitors of the Edmonton
Ski and Snowboard Show take home awesome values in lift tickets with
each entry ticket purchased.
Through this
promotion, everyone wins! It's great for skiers and snowboarders,
ski resorts, local hills and the ski show's attendance. Louise
and her
team look forward to many more years of successful Ski and Snowboard
Shows
throughout the province! |
