Wow, we have just finished another successful Edmonton Ski & Snowboard Show! It was definitely the place to be on October 25th & 26th, 2008, where we provided all downhill enthusiasts a chance to check out great deals on gear, resorts and ski destinations, prizes, competitions, lift ticket deals, and more.

On Saturday we featured the Jib Jam, Western Canada’s largest indoor Rail Jam, complete with snow! Riders were there showing off their talent, competing for cash prizes. Special guest Judge Simon Chamberlain helped determine the winners of the Men and Women’s Finals.

Whether a skier or snowboarder, attendees got all the information they needed to plan their next ski trip by visiting with representatives from every major ski hill in western Canada, as well as many mountain resorts and hotels.

Edmonton Ski Club had their Swap N’ Sale offering some great deals so show-goers could outfit the whole family for less!

On Sunday, Lou Rosenfeld gave presentations on binding position for balance using the Campbell Balancer and alignment for smoother turns using the Tekscan pressure mat system. An informative session full of tips to help you on the slopes!
